The Ajit Seerha Campaign respects your privacy. This notice explains how information submitted through this website is used and protected.

Information we collect

When you volunteer, add your support, contact the campaign or prepare a contribution, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, residential address, postal code, contribution amount, payment status and the declarations you provide. The website also uses a temporary, one-way technical identifier to prevent automated abuse and excessive submissions.

How we use it

We use this information to respond to your request, coordinate campaign activities, administer eligible campaign contributions, issue receipts, maintain financial records and meet election-law reporting obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

Contribution information

Contributions are completed by Interac e-Transfer through the contributor's own financial institution. This website does not request or store online-banking credentials, bank-account numbers or security answers. Ontario municipal election rules require campaign records to identify contributors. A contributor's name and address must be reported on the campaign financial statement if their total contributions exceed $100; filed financial statements may be made public. Campaign contribution receipts are not income-tax receipts.

How we protect it

Access is limited to campaign team members and professional service providers who need the information for campaign operations, payment processing, accounting or legal compliance. Information is kept only as long as reasonably required for those purposes and applicable record-keeping obligations.

Your choices

You may ask to review, correct or delete information you submitted, or ask the campaign to stop contacting you, by emailing vote@ajseerha.com. Some information may need to be retained where required by law.
